  • Responsible for weekly new hire onboarding to include the I-9 and EVerify process for Boston and remote-home employees; follow up on all other new hire I-9’s (company-wide) and ensure compliance within 3-day window
  • Downloads new hire information from applicant tracking system; create electronic personnel file
  • Offboarding: sends Supervisor term checklist for all voluntary terms, and enter RemedyForce (systems access) ticket for voluntary terms (if not done by Supervisor)
  • Works closely with HR Business Partners and enter all involuntary staff terminations into Remedy Force
  • Manages the equipment return process and send kits as needed for remote-home employees who terminate employment
  • Processes employee name changes; update benefit systems as needed
  • Manages HR email inbox
  • Coordinates monthly HR Staff Meetings
  • Orders office supplies
  • Orders flowers for events such as birth/adoption, death in family
  • Files all new hire I-9s; maintain I-9 binders for active and terminated employees; includes quality control and periodic audits
  • Maintains active and terminated employee files (physical and electronic), including annual archive project of physical files
  • Creates and updates department organizational chart
  • Scans and appends documents to employee’s ADP record as needed
  • Responsible for general faxing/scanning, overnight shipment requests, and occasional bulk mailings
  • Coordinates corporate event fundraising administration as necessary
  • Assists with collecting evidence and/or reports on demand as needed for various audits
  • Performs other related duties and project support as assigned or requested
  • Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely organized with excellent follow-up and ability to manage expectations
  • Solid customer service orientation · Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment ·
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, and exhibit a high level of confidentiality
  • Adaptability to fast paced, ever-changing environment and priorities
  • Ability to deliver effective results and meet tight deadlines simultaneously

  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
  • Skills in database management and record keeping
  • Some limited experience in administration of benefits and other HR programs desire

Education: Bachelor’s degree Preferred or equivalent experience required Experience: 2 years of general business experience, including Human Resources experience
